3/4 cup of warm water
3/4 cup of hot milk
1/2 teaspoon of dry yeast
2 teaspoons of sugar
7 cups + 1 teaspoon of oil from sunflower seeds
1 teaspoon of salt
6 cups wheat flour, or as much as you like: butter
Getting the Ingredients Mixed :
First, let’s start making bread by putting the main ingredients together. Warm water, hot milk, dry yeast, and sugar should all be mixed together in a big bowl. Blend them together with a whisk. Whisk the mixture as you add the salt and sunflower seed oil. Do this until it is smooth and creamy.
Getting the dough soft
Now comes the fun part: mixing the dough! Sift the wheat flour into the bowl slowly while stirring it with a wooden spoon. When it gets too thick, you should work with the dough more. Put it on a wooden bread board and knead it very hard until it turns into a smooth, stretchy dough.
How to Shape the Loaves
Make 10 uniform pieces of dough and shape each one into a loaf. Use sunflower oil to grease your hands and cover each loaf well. Spread a small amount of butter out evenly on top of each one. Spread the loaves out into discs with your fingers, then fold the sides in toward the middle. Turn them into tubes and put them on a baking sheet with parchment paper on the bottom.
Putting the dough to rise
Place a clean cloth over the loaves and wait 15 minutes. This lets the dough rise, which makes bread that is light and fluffy. Set your oven to 190°C (375°F) to get ready for baking at this time.
Getting ready to bake
Use a cooking brush to spread an egg wash over the loaves after beating it in a small bowl. For a standard handmade look, make small cuts in the top of the dough. After putting the tray in a hot oven, wait for the magic to happen.
Making the bread
The bread should be baked for about 25 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and smells divine. When the loaves are done, take them out of the oven and let them cool a bit before savoring their warm goodness.
